Mr. Dennis Naughton is about to enter in his twenty fourth year of teaching and fourth year as the Band Director for Flowery Branch High School. In addition to his teaching experience, he has also spent 14 summers as a staff member of the Encore Music Camps in Milledgeville, Georgia, and he spent a year as a staff member of the Atlanta Olympic Band.



As an active member of the GMEA, he has served on the instrumental council, hosted the GMEA band festival, honor bands, and numerous all-state auditions.  He has also presented clinics at the Georgia Music Educators' in-Service Conference held annually in Savannah, Georgia.  Lastly, Mr. Naughton serves as the instrumental coordinator for the Southern Star Music Festival.

Making their home in Woodstock, Georgia, Mr. Naughton and his wife, Christy (a middle school band director) stay busy raising their 8 year old son, Matthew. He also has two other beautiful children Marilyn, a student at UGA and Alex, a senior at East Coweta High School.
